When we met these homeowners, we knew that Dahl House Design could assist in creating their dream space for a master bathroom. The bathroom space was outdated and generic. There was also carpet throughout the bathroom, which they were wanting to get rid of as soon as possible! In order to keep the project costs down, we did a partial remodel. This allowed the homeowners to keep their existing vanity, countertops, and lavatory faucets. They were also able to keep the original bathtub, which they really liked and had no desire to change. We were able to change many things in the master bathroom that transformed the entire mood and functionality.
The original shower was built with an awkward step, that we were able to remove. This enabled us to make the shower space larger, as well as removing an unnecessary step. We chose beautiful wood plank tile for the flooring throughout. The new tile on the tub surround and in the shower is warm and inviting, while still being very low maintenance. New bronze tub and shower fixtures were installed to coordinate with the sink faucets. The existing vanity was given new life with white paint and detailed glazing. Small but essential details such as the soap niches and accent tile band, really bring the whole space together. Now this is a master suite that will envelop them in relaxation daily!
