This is a perfectly refreshed, quaint kitchen in 1900’s home in Denver. When we first saw the kitchen it seemed crowded, awkward, and dated. The couple that owns the house really wanted to update the kitchen while still keeping the character and charm. We opened up some space by eliminating a large cabinet unit. The new kitchen design incorporated taller cabinets to gain space and more functional drawers and pull outs. Instead of the bulky cabinet in the corner, we installed lower cabinets with more counter space. Fresh white backsplash and white quartz counters brighten up the whole space and showcase the beautiful patterned floor tile. The light gray cabinets are offset by the industrial open shelving and simple bronze cabinet pulls. A gorgeous farm sink with a black pull-down faucet complements the design and improved functionality of the kitchen. Now the kitchen feels like an embracing space that completes the rest of the delightful home.
